I do not know if the vector stuff is possible in eps (Postscript)
files or Photoshop files, but I hope so....

Anyway, is it a way to get vectors from PSP into Adobe Illustrator? At
them moment I have only PSP8, but if it would help with version 9 I
would upgrade imidiatly.

The only format you can do that in is WMF or EMF. In either format
you'll be limited to solid colour strokes and fills and WMF doesn't
support curved segments. In this respect PSP8 and 9 are identical.
