Author Match Camera jpg format

We have acquired a "digital photo frame" which displays jpg images as
captured on a CF or SD card. However, the images we want to use have been
digitally edited and resaved as jpg. When placed on the card, the photo
frame can't read them. The company says that there are many versions of jpg
and they can't tell me how to set the options in the photo editing program
so they "match" the camera's version. They did say to use MS Paint, but that
didn't seem to work either.

Anyone know the low level details of camera jpgs and how to match them in
PSP (9)

They are right about the many variants of JPG. PSP can create
several that lesser programs are not equipped to read. To get plain
vanilla JPG, use the JPEG Optimizer with:

Chroma subsampling = YCbCr 1x1 1x1 1x1 (None) or YCbCr 2x2 1x1 1x1.

Format = Standard.
