Uni - do you get commission or stock from Adobe? <G>

Seriously - I tried photo shop and while it's got a lot of fancy bells and whistles, I do not find it a user-friendly environment. Even though Paint Shop Pro has it's problems (what software doesn't?), it's more user friendly and a lot easier to use.

Not all of us are American I'm pleased to say. We don't care where the software comes from as long as it works and is not a rip-off. Photoshop works but is a rip off

Not so. I can afford it, but it is still a rip off. The question is
whether I want to afford it or whether I get better value elsewhere.
Example: if Esso put petrol up to $3 in the US, you could probably afford it
buit you'be being ripped off. You'd probably buy Texaco unless Eso was that
much better. See?

Uni's just a troll who likes to get people going. Best to ignore
or killfile him. Most did so long ago, and only see his stuff
when someone quotes him in replying to him, like this one of
yours.

unimonkey, of all the stupidities u have posted, this is by far the more
absurd.

I'd love to see your autopsy pictures done in Photoshop!

Esso! Texaco!...rubbish!!! I'd buy BP if I were you and buy it at UK
prices of aprox £0.90 per litre as everyone knows that the carbon
monoxide output from it is of far higher quality. Use that and you can
rest assured you are using a quality product.

You don't use the program to make pictures of the autopsy, the
Photoshop CDs have sharper edges than the PSP ones so they are better
for doing the autopsy. Photoshop is *cutting* *edge* technology.

Uni, I remember a time when it was impossible to get through your head
that Paintshop was inferior to Photoshop *-*
How the coin has flipped sides :-)
I guess ST brainwashed you, eh ?
