Some American, eh?

Actually, the entire (former) Jasc staff, I believe, was composed of a
lot of shady characters.

Stick with Adobe - a REAL American Software Company!!!!

That's what many females claim. See, if Jasc maintained the ease of use
after version 7, they'd more than likely still be around. However, they
wanted to kick the big boy competitor's behind, and load up PSP with
confusing, canned, scripting, when all the people wanted was a few
useful scripts, like Irfanview.

So, when is Corel going to update Paint Shop Pro?

A.) Have they made any promises? NO!
B.) Did they claim the WILL NOT modify so drastically, that you'll no
longer even recognize it? NO!
C.) Did they promise to keep the PRICE low, just so you could still
purchase it? NO!
D.) Did Corel purchase PSP, just so they'll have more ammunition against
Adobe and Microsoft? Yes!

Maybe you can explain WHY Joe Fromm (software engineer) from the former
Jasc Software, Inc. BAILED OUT before Jasc was sold off? Obviously,
something went down that he did not like and/or approve of.

Sir, it is ONLY a rip off, if YOU can't AFFORD it. Obviously, you CAN'T.

Now, enjoy your less expensive gristly PSP hamburger, when you could be
eating Photoshop filet mignon.

You probably believe GIMP http://gimp.org is a "rip-off", too, when IT
has/had FEATURES that Paint Shop Pro (which costs you $100+) did not.

You get what you pay for, Bobby. This is why Photoshop is used in
forensic medicine, because it has the precision that Paint Shop Pro lacks.

Why, wasn't Jasc's enough for you, now that they are deceased?

David, everyone knows, even Antonio Soberon and Brendan R. Wehrung, that
you must pay the price for precision.

In the coutroom:

Forensic Scientist: "Here's the proof, your honor"
Judge: "But this image looks distorted and half color and half Black &
White?"
Forensic Scientist: "They had Paint Shop Pro, on sale, so I decide to
use it rather than Photoshop"
Judge: "Next case!!!!!!!!"

:-)
