I've had effect errors in PSP 9

Recently I've been having a bit of a problem with two of My effects....

The kaliodascope and feedback effects haven't been working....

I was wondering if there's any particular reason for it and anyway to
possible fix them.

"It doesn't work" does not give us much to go on. If you care to
supply some details, someone will probably suggest some corrective
actions.

They work for the rest of us and apparently once worked for you.
What changed at the time they stopped working?

Do they fail on all images? If not, on what type of images? Does
image size matter?

How do they fail? Error message, wrong result, no result, slow
performance, program stalls, program crashes?

Although the patch documentation has not mentioned these filters,
the patches might affect them. What version and what language
localization are you using?

What third party plug-ins are installed?

will answer for Silken for She was asking for me .... i have PSP 9
.....i had a spy worm on my pc then i got rid of it ...went to use psp
and the features that i am having a problem with did nothing ...no
error, message nothing, i was trying to use the on a colored background
.....i even went to add and remove and did a repair and that didn't fix
it so am sorta lost at what to do next ... thank you in
advance....sultry

OK, either the infection or its removal probably trashed more files
or registry entries than a repair installation could repair. Try a
complete clean-out and re-installation.

Download ZapJasc from http://www0.jasc.com/pub/ZapJasc.exe. Exit PSP
and run ZapJasc. Select the product and all the clean-up options.
Then re-install PSP from your CD or download file, followed by the
patches in sequence. That should do it.
