CMYK tifs needed for B&W printing? (Shop Printing)

| silly question but, Should i use CMYK tifs for printing a newsletter in
black & white? Is there any benifit to using CMYK tifs i guess?

You're sending the newsletter to an offset press? The only reason I can
think that you'd want to do it would be to print something like "Warm
Black" where the K channel is not at 100%.

Yes. I just called the printing shop and told them i wanted to print a
a newsletter in B&W with photos. They told me to have the photos in
CMYK. Can you or anyone help select the best setup for these photos, as
far as PSP TIF settings. Thanks.

There aren't that many settings to work with. In the Save as Dialog, set
the extension to .tif. Click on the Options buttons and choose
Uncompressed (if that's what they specified) and CMYK.
