Can I Make PSP9 ignore PDF files?
|
|
|
| First TIA for any help.
While using PSP9's image browser, heaven forbid I should navigate to a
folder where there's a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file. Sometimes PSP will
just give a long pause while it reads it in, other times it hangs no
matter how long I wait.
I just want PSP to ignore PDF files! I've looked at JSC's Knowledge
Base, and it contradicts itself without being helpful. I searched this
newsgroup and found nothing. I combed thru the Preferences in PSP and
PDF is not available as something to not associate with PSP, so I'm
stuck. Is this behavior normal? What happens when your PSP browser
runs into a PDF file?
Any help would be very welcome!

the "File format excusions" button and tick "Portable Document File
(*.pdf)".

I'm not the OP, but thanks still, Tim. I tried this little
test on my PC, PSP 9.01.1 paused for maybe 10 seconds or
so in a folder that I had maybe 4 PDFs in, then went on to
create thumbnails for the rest.
I never noticed the exclusion tab before. Good thing to
know.
