You could write up a request for it in the Feature Requests group.
Because PSP already does gradients, just in a different way, it may
not get priority, but you might be able to present a convincing
argument. Jasc used to say, "Do not expect PSP to be a clone of
Photoshop." We have not heard much on that topic from Corel.

That and the Move and multiply are about all that I found better most other
tools I prefer the PSP why Especially the left and right mouse for fore and
background and the ctrl + Z catches me out in ps

I've been asking for a decent gradient tool since PSP6. Expectations
notwithstanding applying gradients in PSP is just awkward. It's not
only PS that uses the much more intuitive and practical method of
defining the location, start and end of a gradient on the canvas,
Illustrator, XaraX and Draw also use this method.

No, but it beats that bloated piece of hyped crap, Photoshop by £450....
Photosohop = rip off price ;)
Now if PS sold for 100 quid...
