Hi NG,
im using psp7 and i'd like to rezise and save about 40 to 50 images at a
time. Until now i did it by hand, but hope there is the posibility to do
that more effective, like batchconverting in different formates. Another
problem is the saving path, it differes from the origin and has to changed
everytime i want to save a open image, Any ideas?????

TIA

Not in PSP 7. The scripts and improved batch processor introduced
with PSP 8 are made just for this. You can speed up the work in PSP
7 by a little bit if you open several images, resize one, and use
Ctrl + Y for Edit > Repeat to resize the others more quickly.

Irfan view (freeware, google for site) can help you out for this. It's free,
not spyware and has a reasonably good reputation among users for 'simple'
image management including batch resizing.

Hi, try Jasc Image Robot, it's freeware up to 4 pictures at a time.
You can almost do every thing you can do by hand in PSP,
such as Change to 256 colors, Deform vertical cylinder,
Filter Sharpen, Resize/resample, and so on, and so on.
In the Output Options you can change to BMP, TIFF, MSP, PCX, . . .
In JPG you can set compression ratio and also set path and DPI.
See http://www.snapfiles.com/get/imagerobot.html for details.
Regards Robert
