Hi everybody,

I print out directly onto dvds and cds and want to be able to crop a
scan of a disc into a circle so there is a better chance of it being
centralised and spot on when printed directly onto a cd/dvd disc.
I know how to use the crop tool to crop in obling/squares but can I
crop pictures in a circle and if so how please?
Also how do I make text with a transparent background?
Thanks for all your kind help.

Did you nod off as you posted that with your head on the keyboard?

If you have any Cd cover tools use that as it will have ways to centre
inserted images.

Open a new image at the same res as you scanned at be it 200 or 300 ppi.
and at 4.7 inch square. Now past you scan into that and using the
deform/pick tool centre and scale to fit the squire you now have it centred.
Text with transparent background or transparent text?
former if you create your text on a transparent background solved.
If you want text with just an outline create as vector with the fill or
background colour turned off and the line width set to width of chose
