Upgrading PSPv7 to v10?
|
|
|
| Hello.
I have finally concluded that I _must_ have 16bit-per-channel editing
capability.
So a replacement of my venerable PSPv7 software appears inevitable.
I have heard some negative things on this list about Corel's version 10
product.
Any more comments on that? And what might folks on this list think about
DLC's Picture Window Pro 3.5 as an alternative?
Thanks
-Mark

Psp X is quiet good So it all depends on what you have heard. Their are
certainly some niggles about not enough new tools and some old favourite
tools being Hidden away but The change from 7 to 10 will bring lots of
features that are kind of must haves if your into digital Photography and 16
bit is the least of them. The Digital noise reduction Is as good or better
then any on the market and at the cost of the upgrade you will get the rest
of the program for around the cost of a DNR plugin.

You should try out X with the free trial download, and decide for yourself. I did that,
and decided to upgrade from 8 to X. And you can keep both the old and new versions on
your computer, if you like.

If something is worth doing
It is worth doing to excess.
