I'm trying to create the effect of falling snow as an overlay, then by using
effects such as wind, give it a range of severity from gently falling to
blizzard conditions. Should be easy, but stuck for ideas, any suggestions?
(PSP 7, 8.1 and 9 available)

2 plugins by VDL (VanDerLee) will help you achieve this:

SnowScape to make an overlay of snow over something...
and SnowFlakes to... well.. speaks for itself.

Thanks for that, just the sort of thing I was looking for, surprised snow
was included in the Elemental plug in.
