Author Changing Printer

This should be easy but I can't seem to figure out how to do it!
I've just upgraded my printer to an EPSON Stylus Photo R300 from my old
Stylus 600 but, although the printer works fine and is set as my only
(default) printer, PSP 8 always give me the error, "There is not a default
printer set up." I've looked everywhere for the setting but I can't find it!
Anybody? TIA, Alan.

It's not so hard to find. File > Print and press the Printer
button to choose the printer. Or, do File > Print Layout and
then File > Print Setup and the Printer button to choose the
printer. PSP maintains it's own default printer to make it
easier for you to print graphics on one printer and text on
on another (the Windows default printer).

Kris, I thought Jasc changed PSP to use the Windows Default
Printer and not maintain its own "default" somewhere after
the release of 8.0.

I have both the Win XP and HP drivers installed for my 1220C.
PSP 8.10 and PSP 9 do remember the last printer I used to
print within a given work session, but the next time I close
PSP (8 and 9) and re-launch, PSP's print engine reverts to my
HP driver, which is set to "default" in XP.

That was what I was trying but that's also when I got the error message
trying both those methods!
Anyway, I decided to uninstall and then reinstall PSP8 and it picked up my
new printer straight away so I'm ok now thanks.

Glad its working for you now! I had a real PITA with printer
crashes in the early PSP 8 days (got fixed in 8.10). I tried
tricking it by creating a dummy default printer but it still
crashed.

Cheers!
