If you still have PSP8 installed in PSP9 go to File>Preferences>File
Locations, highlight Plugins and click Add then choose the folder that
holds your PSP8 plugin filters.

All the built-in effects of PSP 8 exist in PSP 9. In
addition PSP 9 has some new ones.
