Just got back from a LARGE bookstore. I found, 2, yes, that's right, TWO
Paint Shop Pro 8 books. However, I found 75 Photoshop books!!!!!

:-)

So, go ahead, tell me again, just how popular Paint Shop Pro is.

:-)

Uni
p.s. Actually, there were more books available for Paint Shop Pro 7!

Actually, I see no end result of your Paint Shop Pro purchases.

I always thought the more books per program the more pirated copies there

And let face it If your going to steal. Go for the highest price. It could

These days, people are relying on free software:

http://spreadfirefox.com/

:-)

I bet Jasc never had 2 million people download PSP, in 10 days.

Just goes to show you that Photoshop users need more help than PSP users.
Photoshop software documentation must be inferior to that which comes with
PSP.

Yeah, let's talk about Paint Shop Pro documentation. Did you know Jasc
released the Paint Shop Pro 6 manual with NO reference, whatsoever, for
"text" in the index?????!!!!!

:-)

Oh, an what are YOU doing here, Leon? Cracking open coconuts in Hawaii?

:-)

What's this about Paint Shop Pro 9 not supporting embedded color
profiles?????!!!!!

:-)

Whoops, they missed that!

:-)

Maybe version 10, next week, will have it. Get your wallets ready!

The popularity of software is judged by its sales, about
which you are ignorant, not by the sales of books or action
figures or mouse pads or T-shirts or baseball caps or mugs.
Go check out the last five. It will give you something new
to do with your life. When you've finished you will still
be ignorant about PSP sales.

Kris, sir, people write books on topics that they know will sell.

Judging from the number of GIMP books vs Paint Shop Pro books, I saw,
tells me GIMP is slightly less popular than Paint Shop Pro, these days.

Remember, your two buddies Ron & Sally tried their hand at writing a
book covering Paint Shop Pro. They lost their behind, because the
refused to write a book on Photoshop, instead.

Best regards,

That's why you HAD Dell Computers add Paint Shop Pro to their list of
included software, because it wouldn't sell on its own.

:-)

You should have gave those Dell buyers a non expiring copy, instead.

:-)

Okay, I must admit, I did find a Paint Shop Pro "Tool Box" publication,
w/ CD, in the bookstore's magazine section, published by these people:
http://psplibrary.com/

:-)

Again, from the UK.

Killfile may be a preferred alternative for others,

I really don't care what kind of problems ppl

far... jealousy sounds far from an option for

you.

Did you know the authors of Paint Shop Pro 7, did not follow
the JPEG File Interchange Format, v 1.02, dated September 1992?
Yes, that is correct, because there's only ONE (1) "density" value, X or
Y, which it doesn't state, that you can alter while resizing. There
SHOULD be TWO (2) values, both an X & Y.

However, this NON STANDARD is shared by MANY authors of graphics
applications!

You're being trolled by one of its new and many USENET
