| Hello,
PSP7
I have an image that is 135X135 that I want to filter a bit and then use as
a tiled background.
I have never used tiles and am wondering:
Do they have to be a certain size? Square Only?
Do I have to give them some special attributes? I see others post tiles as
JPEG, do I have to do something with it after that?
How do I then tile the image into a background?
I've not worked with PSP7 for long, so I'm sorry if it's rather elementary,
but it's all part of the curve, I guess.

Hi Jess. PSP calls them patterns. Most of your questions are
answered at Help > Contents > Selecting Colors, Styles, and Textures

with a pattern, using the Flood Fill tool.
One thing that Help doesn't bring out very well is that any open
image can become the pattern, so leave your 135x135 image there to
use in another image. It will appear near the beginning of the drop
list of patterns. For repeated use you can, of course save it as a
pattern according to the Help directions.

Thanks.
I did look in Help... but for 'Tiles' and what I got wasn't much and was
obviously wrong... never would have suspected 'pattern'.
Saw this reply and played with it a bit last night and it seems to do just
what I want it to do.
Thanks again.
