Vector export? Proportional resize? PSP 8

| Is there any way to get vector shapes out of PSP 8? I would specifically
like to be able to get them into CorelDraw, but I don't have CD installed on
this PC to test if copy+paste will do it. Would be nice to be able to have
them as SVG too, but I can do that if I can get them into CD.
Also, when working with vectors, how do I do a proportional resize, ie the
x:y ratio remains the same? In some programs you can hold down ctrl or
shift while dragging with the mouse. I know I can resize the vector layer
with shift-S, but I want to be able to do it "by hand" as it were.

I just figured proportional resize out -- drag with right button down.
Now, how about vector export? :)

Right-click on the corner handle and drag. Unfortunately, PSP 8 (and 9) are
buggy in that it is not always perfectly proportional... when you release
the mouse button, it "jumps" slightly out of proportion. To be safe, I just
made a script that resizes in small proportional increments and mapped it
to the keyboard.

I think you're pretty much limited to saving as WMF--can CorelDraw open
that? I would like it if PSP supported SVG and EPS too.

Yeah, CorelDraw can open WMF. I just discovered that I can save the vector
information out to a WMF and it stays a vector, which is great! I had
foolishly assumed that it would lose the vector information, because you
can't import vector info from a WMF. The other way to do it would be to
print to file, then rename the .prn file to a .ps file, should work.
Thanks Sceadu!

Can you explaine what you mean by "cant import vector info from a WMF". I
have imported Microsoft clipart from office clip orgeniser into PSP as
vectors. In fact if it was not for the renaming of the layers I would add
them to preset shapes file locations.

Considering that SVG is the future for Vector graphics, I think an SVG
Save or export out of PSP is overdue.
Cheers

Hmm, you're right, it does work. I had been doing a lot of work with EPS
and SVG files, and neither of those import as vector, they get converted to
raster. I just lumped WMF in there without trying it.
