Hot Key to Change Brush Size
|

| If I remember correctly, while using the paintbrush in Photoshop, one can
increase (decrease) the brush size using ](]) as a hot key.
1. Does Paint Shop Pro 8 have a similar capability?
(Snooping around the manual did not reveal such to me.)
2. If not, can it be simulated via scripting?
(Snooping around the the scripting api documentation didn't immediately
reveal this capability to me.)
3. Does the answer to either question 1 or 2 differ for PSP 9 ?
Thanks

Hi Michael. PSP 8 does not have keyboard brush control, but PSP 9
has key strokes for changing all brush sizes by +/- 1 pixel and by
+/- 20 pixels, starting either from the present brush size or from
zero. It also allows changing all brush sizes with the mouse.
Scripting for both versions lets you set the brush size and invoke a
script from a keyboard shortcut. However, I do not know how to read
the present brush size in a script. You could ask the scripting
experts in the Scripting group at http://forums.jasc.com.
