Try reloading the workspace Siggy under File menu.

If that doesn't work you may have to run repair tool

In add/remove programs choose 'change" then choose 'repair' as your option.

Hi Siggy,

Missed this question first time around.
Not sure what you're after here!

Are you wanting to crop the area outside the selection?

If so, after working on your initial selection and having achieved
the results you want. Go Selections > select none then merge visible
on the layers palette.. crop your resulting image.

I'm confused about what you're refering to as not the selection but the
selection frame?

The deform tool is something you'll use often
and an invaluable tool. Sorry I missed your meaning.
