Author How do you copy and paste from Illustrator to Photoshop besides resize and drag?

Hello,

The only way I have been able to do this was to resize both PS and ILL
and drag the object I want into PS.
I was wondering if there was a simpler way that didn't involve
resizing and such.

Thanks again. This group is great!

Cheers

Try Copy > Paste

Or save in EPS and use Import.

I tried copy and paste. It didn't work before.
and for the EPS and Import method, I think the resize + drag method
is faster.
Hopefully, in CS3, copy and paste has been implemented. It seems such
an intuitive approach.

Copy/paste works for me using Illy 9 and PS 6.

Try this: select the object in Illy and copy,
then make new document on PS (it should read the size and color mode of
then object) then paste. You'll be confronted with some options like (I
think) shape layer, pixels, path; use whichever's applicable to your needs.
