How do you move the center point of an object?

| I want to rotate and copy an object, but I want to move the center
point so that it rotates at a different point. How do you do this?

With the object selected, use the rotate tool to click where you want
the center/rotation point to be, then rotate. Once deselected the center
point will return to true center by default.
