EPS transparency question

| I made and saved a custom Flatten Transparency preset, and I want to
utilize it when exporting .eps files. Does anybody know of a way that
I can get this box to not be grayed out, so I can select my .eps
preset. I have gotten it to work before, so I know its possible, but I
can't figure out for the life of me what to do.

I have had this same problem and haven't been able to find a way
around it, so I am just as interested to see if someone has a fix!

Just a guess: Select and Expand it.

If Steg's suggestion doesn't work:
The only thing I can think of is to try different settings like 1)
Postscript level 3, 2) check font permissions, 3) preview type
(shouldn't be an issue though). I'm also be concerned about the raster
effects being 72ppi, quality-wise.
If none of the above works perhaps you can just set it up as an Action.
I apologize if none of this is helpful. My experience with Illy is
limited to old version 9. Hopefully someone else will have suggestions.
