Author color layer opacity problem. Help please.

I have a drawing that I'm working on to take in for screen printing. I'm
suddenly having a problem with one of the layers. The problem is that the
opacity is set to 100% and all layers are normal, but some objects on this
layer are partially transparent. It appears as if the opacity is at about
80%. This problem has me baffled. Other objects on the same layer are
correct but these objects are not. I would prefer not to have to recreate
them.

Can anyone here point out my error?

Greg

As often happens, I have found the solution to my own problem. The problem
turned out to be that the compund path was in a group. Once I moved the
compund path out of the group, the opacity problem went away.
