I'm a "very" new user, excuse my question to those pro's.

I have a packaging bag that I'm trying to edit. It has all individual letter
(in groups) "I ungrouped them" no text boxes. I wanted to add and delete
some wording but can't figure how.? The letters seem to stand alone.

Thanx for the help in advance.
Joe

That is probably text objects that have been converted to outlines,
and for all intents and purposes, is no longer editable as text.

(unless the original artist saved a duplicate layer as text)

You might want to try to determine what font was used and replace
these objects with text.

Alternatively, it could have been a PDF which, in older versions atleast,
can break up lines of text horribly in Illy. If you don't have Acrobat Pro
and/or can't edit within it, use Text Select or Text Column Selection tool
to copy the line of text in Acobat Reader, paste it into your Illustrator
document (maybe off to the side). It won't be formatted, but atleast you'll
have whole words. I don't think the font will be copied, so you'll have to
apply the correct font, size and formatting to match the rest.
