wondering if anybody have this problem.
I have 1 gig of RAM (dual channel) on AMD64 3000 with 128 meg of graphic
card.

notice everytime i open and close few files, it will give me out of
memory error (can't finish previewing)

is there a way to clear illustrator memory cache in Win XP sp2?

Your PC seems to have sufficient memory.... I'd try this: Bring up the
Windows Task Manager (Control+Alt+Delete) buttons to take a look at all
your open applications and how much RAM there are taking. Besides
Illustrator, do you have any other memory-hogging applications open at
the same time like Photoshop or Indesign? If so, close any big apps you
don't need.

Are the Illustrator files you are opening gigantic in file size?
