anyone know is it Illustrator convenient to be used in combination
with Roland engraving machine and Wacom tablet.
Currently we make engravings using dxf file conversion from bundled
software, but I would like to make more 'old fine-art' like style
engravings, which means more artistic style than simple logos with text.

Which is way to go with Illustrator and this desire. Any tutorial perhaps?
Tnx

M.

I don't use a tablet and am not familiar with roland engraving
machine.

I understand that Illustrator works well with tablets.
With Illustrator you can export you document (art work) to AutoCad
Interchange file format .dxf

You shouldn't have any problem.

Hi, there. I use a Wacom tablet (Wacom Graphire 4 Pen Tablet), and it
works perfectly with Illustrator; Illustrator recognizes the pen
pressure, etc. It's important to install the software (driver, etc.)
that comes with the tablet, though. If you just "plug'n'play", I'm not
sure if it will work that well.
