Outputting from Illustrator CS2 to a an Agfa Accuset imagesetter

| Hi people I'm having a problem outputting from illustrator to my
imagesetter. I'm a FH user so AI is very new territory for me.
Basically when I print to a postscript file and image it out the
frequency isn't what I want it to be, its much lower. My printer output
is as follows:
Mode: Seperations (Host-Based)
Emulsion: Up (Right Reading)
Image Negative
Printer Resolution: 133/2400 AAS, BAL, STD
Black is on overprint.
The only complication I can see in the file is that it has a PSD in it
that hasn't been flattened because it has a feather fade on it. If
anyone can help it'd be much appreciated.
Thanks Warren

There's a few things it could be, but the ones that spring to mind is to
make sure the AI file's printer resolution is set to match the
imagesetter's setting, or to use printer's native screen since you're
printing to file. The next- if that brings no joy and if you can afford
the debug runs- see what the psd file does by itself. The third is try
outputting directly from Illustrator after making sure that the
resolution is set properly.
I'm sort of guessing, as you didn't mention if it was the halftoning or
the resolution itself that's a problem. :)
