| Here's the situation. I have the new CS on my iBook. Ancient 8.0 CS (no internet) on an old desktop Mac. And a PC laptop (with internet).
I am working on a project on my iBook and it poops out. I'm talking not even turning on when charging! Now the project I am working on utilizes Papyrus font, which I don't have on the ancient Mac. The question:
So, I am thinking of getting Illustrator for my PC as I don't have the money to drop on a new iBook. Is it generally the same? If I get another iBook down the road will the PC illustrator files work with the Mac? I'm thinking it may be easier to have illustrator and be able to download the font that I need on the PC (even though I love my Mac dearly)....Any thoughts? Thank you in advance for any advice! |
