I have been asked to create a stencil on card for a client, and am having serious trouble setting up the text for cutting. Obviously when text is cut from an adhesive vinyl the centres of letters can be stuck back in place once the stencil has been taken off its backing. However, with card I'm finding it hard to edit the text in Illustrator to allow the letters to retain their middle section. Even if I draw in sections to hold the letters together it doesn't help! Please help- anyone who knows anything about fine cut or illustrator!
