Instances for Illustrator?
|
|
|
| I work sometimes with pins, send to print .ai files of 17-20 mb, around 40
times the same illustration in the same artboard. Print it is a mess!
Is there a way like in Flash MX to create istances of the first illustration
and print them?
Thank you all,

| You could try making symbols of each pin. When you duplicate a symbol,
the computer is referencing the copy already in memory. That may help,
but then symbols in Illustrator have their caveats, too.
Also, I've heard there is a way to tile the print output, although I
have never done that before.

I think pins are far better when you import them in PS. Then convert
them to dots and certify the file. Looks fantastic listening to Dave
Matthews.
