>>> I'd like to see some of your work...can you provide a link?

I do illustrations of all kinds - technical, juvenile, editorial,
fashion, realistic, etc - is there anything specific you'd like to see?
: )

I did Elance for a while - haven't really bid on anything, but I have a
membership and profile there if you'd like to peruse . . . but because
I don't do much there, there's not much to see.

I'm working on redesigning our site (and learning CSS to boot), so that
won't be up for another 2-3 weeks. : /

But if you ever need any advice on Illy, give me a holler at my e-mail
address - just remove all instances of "NO" and "SPAM." I've been using
Illy since v3, and I don't mind sharing! That's how I know all I know -
from listening to others and asking questions! I can also help you with
InDesign . . . : )

All the best!!

I love your work, Connie!

Thank you, Darlin'! Coming from YOU, that means a lot to me!! : )

I take pictures, LOTS of pictures, for reference. My kids are the best
models for kids' illustration. BTW - my kids are the two in the
portraits page.

I've also been known to use iStock images as reference. I can usually
get several there of the same subject at diff angles so I can
extrapolate what the subject looks like from all sides. I don't even
pay for them when I do that - I figure its like a Visual Ref guide, but
better. No diff than surfing the Net for crappier versions. I don't
think (well, hope) that's copyright infringement - since I only use
them as reference for what they look like and don't trace them or
anything. : /

Also, I have, for reference, several Dover Clip Art collections books -
they're awesome for that, too. And finally, I have several Visual
Reference guides that show me, say, what the human skeleton looks like,
muscle tissue, etc. What an engine looks like - it's parts, how it
works, etc.

Again, thanks for the compliment!! Hopefully, you're writing me back -
I e-mailed you about two hours ago - did you get it?

Hugs!!
Connie
