Try the Adobe Studio Exchange . . .
( http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/index.cfm ) a web community
where you can find (mostly) free plug-ins, actions, scripts, brushes
(seen a few "blood drop" brushes there), and symbols. All created by
people like you and me - Illy lovers! : ) You'll find all sorts of cool
'n' fun stuff there! Happy "Shopping!"
To make the blood drops vector and editable - simply select the line
you used to create them and go to Object>expand appearance . . . it
will change the line from a simple line to the actual "brush stroke" -
it will be completely editable.
HTH!!
