I've got a brand new company and will be placing ads in some magazines I
would like to hire a graphic designer in the Indianapolis area who could
help me design and produce the ads necessary for the trade journals. Please

I referred a friend from Indianapolis..he has good experience in art
direction and printing.

I am a freelance graphic designer with 2 + years experience. I am
experience in printed material and web design. First hand experience in

newspaper publication as a designer. This experience has increased my
skills and given the me opportunity to learn from some very experienced

people in the business.

I have strong people skills that have helped me in building my business

from home. ( see my "referral letter from previous employer"). I am
involved in a weekly production in a christian setting for kids. I am
responsible for the graphics and video production. Recent comment from
the youth director "You guys rock! I am amazed at the way you both
have "kicked it up a notch" since we have been at the theatres.
Charles, you're churning out some awesome stuff on the presentations
and everything just keeps getting better and better."

I could go on and on but let my work speak for me...take a look at my
on line portfolio. You can view resumes, referral letter, and
references plus previous work i have done.

I worked for a newspaper for +6 years and am still trying to unlearn all the
crimes against design I learned to commit on a daily basis there. Some of it
was valuable experience, but mostly in the "what not to do" category. BUT,
the one thing that got ingrained... "run spell check!" (check your front
page)

My best advice when looking for fine design work, don't mention the
newspaper, just say print. When you're after graphic production work, then
mention the newspaper. I'm sure either of us are up to magazine ads, but the
person who posted the job, Wayne Weber, wanted someone in Indianapolis, and

I'm not trying to be a smartass, Charles. Welcome to the group. I like your
Misc. Images:) In my browser your ad links don't work properly though. Might
be the file names. You're one up on me; I've never been able to commit to a
site design for myself.
