I have Illiustrator 10.0 and will need to do color separation for silkscreening.

I have a laser printer and I can't do the color separation. I can't even open
the box. Seem the printer need to be postscript or imagesetter.

I have a HP 1000 printer.

I am sure I am missing something. Help please.

Thanks

Two options:

1. Upgrade to Illustrator CS2. It allows you to do separations even
without a PostScript printer.

2. Get Adobe Acrobat. It will install a "PDF Printer" that you can
print separations to.
