Author how to scale the thicknes of a line while scaling the object?

Corel has the scale with image option. For example: When I reduce the size
of an object for 50%, the thickness of a 2mm line will be reduced
automatically to 1mm
how to make it on Illustrator?

go object/transform/scale/ and mark the "scale & strokes effect"

Also, in AI 9 atleast, select scale & strokes in the flyout menu of the
Transform palette; or double click the Scale Tool to set.
