Hi there,

I am trying to create a logo and am relatively new to the whole
vector-creation side of design but am slowly but surely teaching myself
tricks of the trade. Anyways, I have the task of creating a logo that
includes a palm tree and am wondering if anyone knows good sites that offer
vector clipart like this in .ai or .eps format. Even if you aren't sure
about the palm tree part, if you could send over any good sites it would be
HIGHLY appreciated by this learning student. Thanks a lot for your time.

Regards,

T. Logan

Try alt.binaries.clip-art. There are quite a few people there with huge
collections.

All vectors:
http://www.vectorart.com/Store/inde...lustrations.htm
See: Trees

And not for use in any form (and nothing great), but an old one of mine:
imagessence.com/imageviewer/char_hs.gif

But, if you're making a custom logo you should make a custom illustration. I
understand though that you might need see how they are made.

As my very first project in Illustrator, I've traced this tree using the
pen tool. If the OP (or anyone else) wants a copy, email me at
n_sherlock :at: ihug :dot: co :dot: nz

Thanks to everyone for the help. Oh and as far as the logo goes, basically
I just needed to see how these are made, and wanted to see different
variations of palm trees. And really the logo is just for my portfolio and
won't be anything for a real company or anything.

Thanks everybody!
