Author moving Illustrator CS from one Mac to another

Hello,

I need to transfer an installation of Illustrator CS from one Mac to
another: is it as simple as dragging-and-dropping Illustrator's
directory? Is it only one directory that I have to worry about, or is
there a huge mess of files scattered all over the place?

Mostly it's an issue of not being able to find the installation
CD. It would be great if I could simply bring up one of the machines
in 'target' mode with a FireWire cable and do the transfer.

Thanks for any info.
