Mottling the Fill in a Shape
|
|
| Dennis Hughes 2005-05-01, 11:14 pm |
| I'm new to Illy CS and working on a project for my Illy class. I'm taking
an F-18 Blue Angel aircraft and turning the raster into a vector image
manually.
The photo, which I placed, is being used as a template. The blue color is
slightly "mottled" on some areas of the plane.
How do I "mottle" the fill color in a shape? I'm guessing this is possible.
Thanks,
Dennis

Post the image somewhere so that people can see what you are trying to do.

| Lon,
Not sure how to post an ai so it can been seen, but I selected the shape,
went into effect and selected texture and grain. Also tried effect,
artisitic and film grain. The latter seemed to work the best.
Thanks,
Dennis

You post a jpg or gif of the image on a web site somewhere.
