| Hi all,
Im kinda new to Illustrator.
I opened an .ai file, and I can see the image fine, however when I got to
try and edit it the mouse pointer is a little pencil with a line going
through it (indicating a forbidden action I think).
How can I unlock this?
Thanks!

mmmmm seem to remember that.
Try Select All and hit Edit >> Unlock All
Or try and open a new blank document and Place the file rather than
opening it.
Just guessing. You are free to send it: peterhuis {AT} planet {DOT} nl
