Hello Can anyone tell me how to know if an image inside a ai files is a
vector or a bitmap?

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but, when you are in Illy go
to View>Outline if it's bitmapped it just shows a box with an X in it.
If its vector you will see the outlines.

Draw a bounding box over the artwork in question . . . if you see many
lines (or a few, depending on how complex the artwork is) it's vector.
If you only see a "box," it's raster.

Thanks for the replies. I sent my ai vector to my supplier and they
told me that there were some bitmap parts in my ai file. Is there a
way to eliminate all bitmaps from the ai file?
