Hello,

I use Illustrator 10 on OS X Jaguar at work and one problem I have
since the switch to OS X from OS 9 is when I print from Illustrator,
and only Illustrator 10. I get the beach ball for about 30-45 seconds.
Does anyone have an answer to this as well as a solution! I have an
idea that its the fonts, sometimes it seems its always the fonts!

Try outlining all the fonts in the file and print. If you still get the
beachball...it's something else.
Then I'd say reinstall the printer driver.

I have been working with this problem for months now and I haven't had
ANY time to fix it. I have tried the norms by re installing
Illustrator, re built my printers, its ALL of my printers btw. And I
print to about 15 different queues to 3 different printers, on any
given day. And printing out PS files to distill are a pain.

I have CS installed to, could there be a conflict?

I am also connected to a Deskpack server for trapping, I always thought
it was the plugins that we use, but I haven't been able to prove it
yet.

I have no third party cards or anything so I dont know why it happens!
