Author Lost my print area view, helper?

I cant figure out how to get my print area turned back on, or how it went
away. My page size is 12x39in and I used to see that entire area outlined on
the screen, now I just see the artboard area. I've clicked on everything I
can see but cant find where to get that view back on. Thanks folks!

Maybe you mean "view/page tiling"

Ok, the way I have my setup my artboard is 8.5x11 which I normally ignore
anyway. My page size under printer setup is 12x39, so I would have two
squares on the screen, and the print setting one is the one I actually cared
about and the one I lost and cant get back :)

I believe the thing you lost is the box that represents your page/ paper
size.

e.g. normal page 8.5x11= 8.5x11 box.

this is called the artboard. So, to toggle this you must goto:

View > (show/hide)artboard

I hope this answers your question now (finally)
