Backtracking CS to version 8

| I created a large file using CS and the printing company has told me that
they must have the file in Version 8.
I know I can save as a PDF that will open in older version but I can't
afford to lose any detail.
I don't see an option to save as a previous version.
I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but can somebody run me through
this?
