| hi all.
i have a problem with a project my teacher has given me.
i have to make a design in illustrator, export is as an EPS to indesign 2,
and then save it as a pdf.
the problem is, all the colours are different between the apps.
i.e. if i crate a box in illustarator cymk, i set cyan to 100%, and the rest
to 0, the colour is not so "deep" when exported to indesign. if i create a
box in indesign and do the same thing, its still different from illustrator,
and as for the pdf...
the colours are way off.
i guess this has something to do with colour profiles, i have no idea of how
to fix this.
all the apps are freshly installed with no preferences altered.
if anyone has ány idea about thses things, please let me know.
thanx

It doesn't matter how the colors look on the screen when you're working with
CMYK, what matters is what it looks like when it comes off the press at the
printer.
100% cyan is 100% cyan on the press.
You can probably make it look better on screen by setting everything to the
same color profile. File>Color Profile or Color Settings. Try American SWOP
prepress/Default CMYK.
