I'm doing something wrong

| trying to use a perspective distortion. I'm using Illy 9 on
Mac OS 8.6. I swear the instructions read to select the
item, then use the distort tool with shift-option-command,
dragging from a corner; but all that does for me is scale it
from the center. What am I not getting?

Do you mean the Shear Tool? Just use shift or no key what ever.
Distortion in version 8 was only in the Filters. Not sure
about 9.

| To do this the perspective operation make sure you click and hold the corner
you want to drag _before_ you press the 3 buttons.
It usually works fine that way.

| Thank you, Gary. That did the trick! I thought I was going
more insane than I already am, but I was holding the keys
down before grabbing the corner. UGH!
