| Hi, the company I'm working for makes year-ending software, and thus have a
rather large collection of tax-forms. They are maintained as eps-files using
Illustrator 8.0. After a form has been updated, it's saved as an ai-file,
opened in Visio (pre-MS) and finally saved as an emf-file. I'm the one
puttig these images into the application, and don't know much about
graphics. Neither do the person who is now mainting the forms.
Now I see that in Illustrator CS one can Export directly to emf-format on
the File-menu. The problem is that when I do this, the resulting emf-files
are about twice the size compared to files converted in Visio. I have done a
little experimenting on this, and it seems the filesize is very dependant on
the font used. It's much smaller when using Arial than ITC Officina Sans
Book. Unfortunatly the latter MUST to be used. Is there anything I can do?
