Author Mastering Illustrator Site or Training Aid Needed

I'm in need of a program or site that can assist me in learning
Illustrator 9.0 . I see programs on CD for Illustrator 10 on eBay and
wonder if this would work as a training aid for me with 9.0 since that
is not offered that I can find. How about a Dummie book or web site?
Anyone got any recommendations? I got the program just don't know much
about how to use it.
Mucho Thanks in Advance for any help you might offer.

The Illustrator for Dummies book is excellent for someone who needs to learn
Illustrator and vector basics. I'd recommend it.

GREAT! Found a copy on eBay and will buy. Thanks for the info. Wish I
could find one of those instructional CD's for 9.0. There such an
animal out there?
