Adobe Illustrator - Illustrator help doesn't work

Illustrator help doesn't work

Gang,
when I hit the help button in Illustrator I get a message stating that "no
default web browser has been defined in Illustrator..." How do I solve
this?

try opening your browers and then opening the help.html file for Illy. Mine
is at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Illustrator 10\Support Files\Help\help.html

I couldn't find anything in help about how to set your default browser in
Illy. What do you have set up as a system default? Maybe it only works with
Explorer and Netscape.

You don't set your default browser in Illy; you set it for your o/s usually
through the browser itself. What do you have set up as your system default
browser? Maybe it only works with

I had a similar problem. It appears that Illy doesn't like any browser
that isn't IE. I have yet to find a way round it other than to make a
shortcut to the help file and put it in my quick launch bar.
