clipping path question

| When u make a clipping path or layer in Illustrator, the object that you
use effectively becomes invisible. Does anyone know of a way that the
clipping object can still be seen whilst editing objects 'within' the
clipping path?

| maybe
make a copy of your clipping path object....
then create the clipping path
then 'paste in front' (ctrl-f) ?

Use the group select tool (white arrow with the plus) to select the
path. If you like, you can give it a stroke so that you can see it when
it's not selected, and then later on take the stroke off.
