Do I have to Ctl-J each time??
|
|
| Greg Walker 2003-12-21, 11:32 pm |
| I'm tired of clicking Control J every time I trace and object. Is there a
way to set the default to a closed object?
Thanks,
Greg

If I understand you correctly it sounds to me like you are manually
tracing an object (not using a trace program) you can join the end
points while tracing. To do this you need to hover your cursor over the
last point while drawing the final segment and the cursor will change
(when on over the point) a little circle appears, when it changes you
can click the point and it will close the object.
I hope this is what you were talking about.

| also, if you click and start dragging with the pencil tool and THEN hold
down Ctrl you will see that little 'circle' will appear next to the
cursor... then,. when you release the mouse, the path will be closed
wherever you are!!
